Chicken Taco Lettuce Wraps
Love taco salads? This lettuce-stuffed creation is made with taco sauce and seasoned shredded chicken.
1 tablespoon Canola Oil
1 pound skinless, boneless chicken breast, chopped
1 (.78-ounce) package CHI-CHI’S® Restaurante Seasoning Mix
1/2 cup water
8 lettuce leaves, for serving
CHI-CHI’S® Jalapeños, wheels
CHI-CHI’S® Thick and Chunky Salsa
Shredded Mexican cheese blend
Cooked Mexican or Spanish rice for serving
1. In large skillet over medium heat, heat oil. Add chicken. Cook 5 to 10 minutes or until chicken is browned, stirring occasionally.
2. Stir in seasoning and ½ cup water. Cook 5 minutes. Cool slightly.
3. Spoon chicken mixture into lettuce leaves. Top with jalepeño peppers, salsa and Mexican cheese. Serves 4.
