Caramel Apple Fondue
Combine creamy caramel and chunky CHI-CHI'S® Salsa for a uniquely delicious fondue experience that's also way more fun.
Ingredients:
1 package CHI-CHI'S® 8 inch Flour Tortilla Soft Taco Size
2 cups caramel ice-cream topping
1 cup CHI-CHI'S® 16 oz Thick & Chunky Salsa Medium, drained
4 apples, cored and cut into wedges
1 package pretzels
Olive oil
Preparation:
1. Heat oven to 400°F.
2. Cut tortillas into wedges. Place tortilla wedges on baking sheet; brush lightly with oil. Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until golden brown and lightly crisp.
3. Meanwhile, in small saucepan, cook caramel topping and salsa over medium-low heat, stirring frequently, 8 to 10 minutes or until hot and flavors are blended. Serve with apple wedges, pretzels and tortilla wedges for dipping.
