Taco-Topped Dogs
How do you make your hot dog the top dog? Top it with a spicy seasoned taco filling made with CHI-CHI'S® Taco Sauce.
Ingredients:
1/2 package CHI-CHI'S™ Taco Sauce with Seasoned Ground Beef
1/2 cup shredded taco Cheddar cheese blend
1/2 onion, chopped
8 hot dogs
8 not applicable hot dog buns
Preparation:
1. Heat oven to 350°F. Line baking pan with aluminum foil.
2. In bowl, combine taco meat, cheese and onion; mix well.
3. Split hot dogs lengthwise down middle, but not completely through. Spoon taco filling down center of each; place in buns. Place buns on pan.
4. Bake hot dogs 10 to 15 minutes or until heated thoroughly. Top with shredded lettuce, salsa and sour cream, if desired.
