Hearty Chili Con Queso
Stir up a tasty batch of chili, one with the right amount of spice and a large amount of taste.
Notes: Makes 4 cups.
1 (12-ounce) package pork sausage
1 (15-ounce) can chili with beans
1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
1/2 cup CHI-CHI'S® 16 oz Thick & Chunky Salsa Medium
1/2 cup sliced green onions
1. In medium saucepan, crumble sausage. Cook over medium-high heat until browned; drain, if necessary.
2. Stir chili, cheese, salsa and onions into saucepan. Cook and stir just until cheese is melted. Serve warm with tortilla chips, pita bread wedges or crackers, if desired.
